WELCOME TO WANTAGE AND GROVE U3A
Two new groups
The first Mah Jong group meeting is on Monday 27th July - 2pm - Grove Church Hall
WhatsApp walking group - does involve walking, not too far and invites others to join when the sun is shining and members wish to have company on a local stroll.
- Friday 31st March - we took advantage of a 5th Tuesday and held a meet the 'groups' event. We welcomed members who were both more established and those new to the U3A. Chance for a chat and to eat some cake !
- Several people expressed interest in joining groups so we achieved our aim.
Each group had displays on their table - here are a selection
Our next coffee morning for new members will be on Friday 17th July 10.30-11.30 am at the Vale & Downland Museum, 19 Church Street, Wantage, OX12 8BL. If you miss that one the next opportunity will be Friday 21st August and then Friday 17th September.
